About Me and Team Melee
My name is Kyle Cook. I have been playing paintball for four years now. I first started off playing in my back yard on my farm but that got old really fast. My first year I played I really didn't have any money so I played every every other week that I could. My second year that I played I made a field called Splatball Paintball outside of Yankton in a small town called Mission Hill. I started off with a wooded field filled with pallets and junk. After I made that I kept adding stuff to the field, like old cars, a 10 ft fort on each end of the field, and my personal favorite a bus. But that wasn't really my style of play so I made a speedball field on my pasture land. Now their was some good times. At the end of that year 2001 I had a tourney for 3-man and 5-man. Some teams came down like Demo, Vodoo, and Toy Soldiers and 6 other teams from Yankton but nothing really big. Then things started to get bad. During the start of the 2002 season no one really came and well I ran one last tourney at my place but it was a disaster. So I said the hell with it and decided to just start playing up at Bridgewater from now on and thats exactly what I and my team have been doing every since, and believe me when we say this, we are going to come out big next year. BIG!! We as a team are spending alot of money to make this whole team effort work out, and when I say alot of money I mean it. I alone have spent well over a thousnad dollors as the rest of my team to. But you have to spend some $ to make things work for you right right. Well maybe not everyone thinks so. This year has been a farily good start with use getting Dye stuff which by the way is not easy to get at all as me and the rest of my team found out. We got our jerseys custom done (lettering) (logo) We can only hope to do our best to the strive towards victory. |
